I CAN REGISTER A NEW COMPANY MYSELF, RIGHT?

It's no secret, there are plenty of companies on the internet, known as Company Formation Agents, who offer their services for much less money than an accountant would charge.

BUT…

You won’t receive crucial advice on share structures – getting this wrong could be extremely costly, both in terms of your initial outlay for purchasing the share capital and also future personal tax liabilities.

You may only have the company name registered at Companies House – leaving you to complete and submit necessary forms to appoint Directors, allocate shares to Shareholders and declare Persons of Significant Control.

You may be required to complete and submit any necessary HMRC registrations yourself, including for VAT, PAYE & NIC, Corporation Tax and Personal Tax - increasing the risk of receiving late registration penalties.

You may not receive the required statutory paperwork – including the Certificate of Incorporation, Memorandum and Articles of Association and completed Register of Directors and Shareholders and Share Certificates.

You may have to pay extra fees for Registered Office Address services – If you decide not to, your residential address may be visible on the public register risking your privacy and security, not to mention the junk mail.

Take the easy option and let us handle the stress and hassle, so you can focus on building your business!
